When designing a custom knife you choose the profile, steel choice, handle design, steel finish, mosaic pins, colour of the kydex sheath and get it custom engraved.
Custom Made Kydex Sheaths
Kydex is tough as nails, custom moulded and comes in a range of colours. These sheaths can be mounted in any direction and allow for one handed retrieval of the knife. They feel very tactical and will protect the blade and yourself.
Custom Laser Engraving
We use a fiber laser to engrave deeply into the steel, we can engrave words or an image.
Different Steel Choices
Damascus Steel
Made by folding and forging two different types of steel which is then revealed visually in the contrast of the layers. This is where art meets function.
Satin Finish Stainless Steel
The classic polished stainless steel look, we hand sand most our stainless blades to a stunning satin finish.
Carbon Steel
The OG steel, most popular steel for high end handmade knives. This is steel isn't for beginners, it requires maintenance but nothing has character like carbon steel does.
Variable Costs
Segmented Handles Vs Singular Handles
Handles can be simply made from piece of timber or can be far more complicated containing antler, stone, wood and spacers. The difference between segmented and singular is roughly $150.
CUSTOM MOSAIC PINS
You might see in our knives pins with animals or icons in them, these are solid handmade brass pins that go through the entire handle. They add about $50 to a knife if you want one.
Steel Finish
The steel finish refers to the surface of the steel and how its treated. It could Brute De Forge with hammer marks, dark stonewashed, satin polish finish or even a full mirror finish.

TIMELINE, SHIPPING & COSTS
How much can I expect it will cost?
Every custom knife is individually quoted but generally speaking our customs are anywhere from $800 - $1500 inclusive of GST, custom engraving, shipping and a lifetime guarantee.
How long do they take to make?
Our lead times change through out the year, but we will give you a rough estimate with the quote. Generally 4-8 weeks.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes we have sent knives to NZ, africa, America and Asia! We will organise a shipping quote for you. Free shipping is for domestic orders.
Can I visit in person and look at the choices?
Yes if your local and able to visit, we would love to meet you and we can get all our materials out so you can get hands on with your selections.
